The SCS Annual Meeting 2026 will take place from 10–12 June 2026 at the KKL Luzern under the motto “The Surgical Collective: Joining Forces for Progress.” The congress once again brings together the surgical community from across Switzerland for three days of exchange, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Those who missed the early bird deadline now have a second opportunity to register at reduced rates. The “middle bird” registration is available until 28 April 2026, offering another chance to secure participation under favourable conditions.
Programme and Credits
The scientific programme is available online and offers a comprehensive overview of current developments in surgery, including a wide range of sessions, courses, and interdisciplinary formats. Complementing this, the social programme provides valuable opportunities for networking and informal exchange.

Interactive Highlight: Medical Escape Room
A special highlight of this year’s congress is the Medical Escape Room, an innovative format designed specifically for surgeons and medical professionals.
Participants work in teams of 2–4 people to solve clinical challenges and surgical puzzles, competing for a top position on the leaderboard. Each of the four rooms offers different tasks, requiring a combination of dexterity, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills.
The escape room will be located on the Luzerner Terrasse and will be open:
– Wednesday and Thursday: 10:00–17:30
– Friday: 09:00–16:00
The activity is organised by SwissACS Bern, Johnson & Johnson, and Medtronic.
